MANAGEMENT ANALYST — CONSERVATION
The Coachella Valley Conservation Commission (CVCC), which is staffed by CVAG, has earned national attention for its efforts to preserve natural lands and maintain habitat for threatened and endangered species. Under the direction of the Director of Land and Habitat Conservation, this Management Analyst is responsible for the coordination of the biological monitoring and land management program for the Coachella Valley Multiple Species Habitat Conservation Plan (CVMSHCP). The Management Analyst performs a wide variety of complex administrative and analytical duties, coordinates conservation efforts with state and federal agencies, non-profit organizations, and other contractors on behalf of the CVCC. An ideal candidate has a passion for improving the quality of life in the Coachella Valley; the ability to gather and compile facts and statistics; and the skills to evaluate program effectiveness and forecasting.
