CVAG Landscaper Course

The Overseeding Certification Course is reduced to 30 MINUTES; is FREE and offered in both English and Spanish. You may access the course from any computer: in your home, office, laptop, or library.

ONLINE COURSE INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Type in or click on the following link: www.collegeofthedesert.edu/pace. This will take you to the College of the Desert’s Partnership and Community Education (PaCE) website where you will find the course.
  2. Locate and click on the CVAG Landscaper Course listed on the left side.
  3. You will need a Flash player application to access the course. If you do not have Flash player, a prompt will appear which will enable you to download the application for free.
  4. Begin the course – you may stop and resume at any time. You will find “Knowledge Check” points throughout the course to test your learning.
  5. You must complete the entire course in order to access, complete and print out your Certificate.
  6. There is also an optional Survey that we would appreciate any comments regarding the course.
  7. Present the Certificate or “pocket-size” Certificate to the Business License Department in order to receive your Business License.

KEEP YOUR ORIGINAL CERTIFICATE. IMPORTANT: THIS CERTIFICATE EXPIRES IN ONE YEAR ALONG WITH YOUR BUSINESS LICENSE –THE COURSE MUST BE TAKEN ANNUALLY–

Note: If you do not have a computer, please attend the free course offered at the College of the Desert’s Partnership and Community Education Program (PaCE) Computer lab on the 3rd Thursday of each month from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Palm Desert Westfield Mall 1st Floor. El curso de Certificación de Overseeding ha sido reducido a 30 MINUTOS; es GRATIS y ofrecido en Ingles y Español. El curso es accesible desde cualquier equipo de computadora, desde su casa, oficina, o biblioteca.

INSTRUCIONES DEL CURSO ELECTRONICO:

  1. Entre al vínculo siguiente: www.collegeofthedesert.edu/pace. Esto le llevará a la página de la Asociación y la Educación de la Comunidad (PaCE) del Colegio Del Desierto, sitio donde encontrará el curso.
  2. Al lado izquierdo de la pagina encontrara una lista, haga clic donde dice CVAG Landscaper Course.
  3. Necesitara la aplicación de Flash Player para acceder el curso. Si no dispone de Flash Player, aparecerá el mensaje que le permitirá descargar la aplicación gratuita;.
  4. Cuando inicie el curso- usted podrá detener y reanudar en cualquier momento. Encontrará “Comprobación de conocimientos” a lo largo del curso para probar su aprendizaje.
  5. Debe completar el curso para poder imprimir su certificado.
  6. También hay una encuesta opcional porque apreciamos cualquier comentario sobre el curso.
  7. Presente el certificado o el certificado de “bolsillo” al Departamento de Licencia de Negocios para recibir su licencia de negocio.

MANTENGA EL CERTIFICADO ORIGINAL. IMPORTANTE: EL CERTIFICADO SE EXPIRA EN 1 ANO CON SU LICENCIA DE NEGOCIO. –EL CURSO DEBE SER TOMADO ANUALMENTE

Nota: Si no dispone de un equipo de computadora, por favor asistir al curso que es ofrecido por la Asociacion y Educacion de la Comunidad (PaCE) del Colegio del Desierto. El curso se lleva a cabo en el laboratorio de computación el tercer Jueves de cada mes de 2pm a 4pm localizado en el Palm Desert Westfield Shopping Mall – en el primer nivel.
