Program Manager – Transportation Engineer

The ideal candidate must be an innovative problem solver who wants to make a true impact in the community. This full-time exempt position is part of a growing Transportation Department that is eager, enthusiastic, and experienced. CVAG staff members think boldly when it comes to easing congestion, accommodating future growth, and making it safer to walk or bike – creating ample opportunities for new projects and programs. CVAG’s current major program activities include the CV Link multi-modal transportation corridor and related studies; the CV Sync regional signal synchronization program; climate resiliency improvements along Indian Canyon Drive; updating the region’s Transportation Project Prioritization Study and Active Transportation Plan; and a regional broadband initiative that has attracted statewide attention. This position under general supervision of the Director of Transportation will plan, organize, oversee, coordinate, and manage transportation programs; manage and provide oversight of transportation planning and policy development; develop, manage, and deliver projects to support the Coachella Valley Transportation Program.
