Director of Energy & Sustainability

The successful candidate will be a leader who can direct and inspire a team of colleagues who are passionate about energy efficiency, renewable energy, and sustainability programs including Desert Community Energy and the Inland Regional Energy Network.

The ideal candidate is comfortable taking initiative, is a creative problem solver, and enjoys working on innovative programs to advance energy efficiency, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, enhance urban greening, and establish a sustainable future.

Management Analyst – Homelessness

The Management Analyst provides the day-to-day direction of the CV Housing First program, including management of clients and deployment of outreach teams. This includes, but is not limited to, providing direction on interactions with homeless people in the field; performing client intake and assessment; developing and reviewing individual client action plans; facilitating referrals; responding to calls for help; conducting regular check-ins with clients in an assigned caseload, and tracking individual and program-level progress through data entry and records compliance.

The Management Analyst will track metrics for the program, review program effectiveness, and make recommendations for improvement. The Management Analyst also ensures the team is supporting efforts to advance coordination with CVAG member jurisdictions and collaborative partners.

Management Analyst – Energy & Sustainability

The Energy and Sustainability Department coordinates environmental programs including energy, solid waste and recycling, sustainability, renewable resources, and other programs as requested by member agencies. The Management Analyst must be able to gather and compile facts and statistics in order to evaluate program effectiveness and forecasting; prepare and review contractual and regulatory documents; prepare and maintain complex program records and systems applications; analyze operational problems, reach practical and logical conclusions and implement effective solutions; maintain professional objectivity and neutrality under sometimes stressful circumstances; develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with many partners; write well; prepare creative outreach tools including flyers, handouts, PowerPoint presentations, website content.
