Recommendation: That the CVAG Executive Committee conduct a public hearing to:
1)
Adopt Resolution of Necessity 19-003 declaring the acquisition of Right of Way easements on certain real property, more particularly described as Assessor Parcel No.'s in the staff report below; and
2)
Adopt Resolution of Necessity 19-004 declaring the acquisition of Right of Way easements on certain real property, more particularly described as Assessor Parcel No.'s in the staff report below, for CV Link, a Multi-Modal Transportation Project, in the cities of Palm Springs, Cathedral City and La Quinta, California, which comport to the certified Final Environmental Impact Report (State Clearinghouse No. 2013111050) and Environmental Assessment with Finding of No Significant Impact (FPN: ATPL 6164(022)) for said Project.

Discussion/Action

RecommendationApprove Resolution No. 19-001 adopting CVAG's 2019/2020 Fiscal Year Annual Budget, Salary Schedule, and Allocated Positions.
RecommendationApprove Amendment #4 to the contract with Path of Life Ministries for CV Housing First services, extending the term through October 31, 2019 and additional budget not to exceed amount of $250,000.
Recommendation:
1)
Authorize the Executive Director to execute needed agreements to accept Housing Assistance and Support Program funding from the County of Riverside in the amount of $200,000; and
2)
Authorize Executive Director to negotiate and execute a contract with Coachella Valley Rescue Mission and/or other operators for summer emergency cooling centers operations in the Western Coachella Valley through October 1, 2019, in an amount not to exceed $200,000 in HEAP funding.
Recommendation: Appoint a city manager to serve as CVAG's representative on Riverside County's Emergency Medical Care Committee for a three-year term beginning July 1, 2019.
Recommendation: Authorize the Executive Director to execute Amendment #6 to the contract with Alta Planning & Design, with a not-to-exceed amount of $1,415,955 and authorize the Executive Director and/or Legal Counsel to make any changes/revisions for clarification purposes.
